• Start by cleaning your nails with nail polish remover and cotton balls. Then cut, file, and smooth your nails to achieve a level surface.
• Before starting to apply the nail polish, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the edges of the nails; this way, if you go over the nail with the polish, it will be very easy to remove the excess from the skin.
• Apply a base coat to each nail and wait a few seconds until it is completely dry.
• Choose your nail polish color and apply it to your nails, always removing any excess product by sliding the brush along the neck of the bottle. Let this thin layer dry, and then apply a second coat.
• Finally, apply a finishing coat to give them extra shine, greater resistance, and a longer lifespan.
• To make your nails dry quickly, soak them in ice water; this will make the polish harden faster.
