Lip scrubs: prepare your lips for a perfect finish
Lips are exposed to external factors such as cold, sun, and temperature changes, which can cause dryness or flaking. Lip scrubs help gently remove dead skin cells that accumulate on the surface of the lips, promoting smoother, softer skin that is better prepared to receive moisturizing treatments or makeup.
Adding a lip scrub to your lip care routine is a simple step that makes a big difference. Besides improving the appearance of your lips, it allows balms, masks, and other treatments to penetrate the skin better and lipsticks to apply more evenly, preventing color from settling into dry areas.
At Perfume's Club you will find a wide selection of lip scrubs formulated with ingredients that gently exfoliate while providing nourishment and hydration, respecting the sensitivity of this area.
Why use a lip scrub?
Lip exfoliation offers numerous benefits and is recommended when lips are dry or have small flakes. Used regularly, it helps keep lips soft and healthy-looking year-round.
Removes dead skin cells and small flakes.
It softens the texture of the lips and improves their appearance.
It promotes the absorption of balms, masks and lip treatments.
Prepare your lips before applying makeup.
It helps to achieve a more uniform and longer-lasting lipstick finish.
Many exfoliants incorporate nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, vegetable oils, vitamin E, or natural extracts that help maintain hydration while performing a gentle exfoliation.
How to exfoliate your lips properly
For best results, apply a small amount of lip scrub to clean lips and massage gently in circular motions for a few seconds. Then, remove the product with warm water or a damp cotton pad.
After exfoliating, it's recommended to apply a lip balm or lip mask to hydrate and reinforce the skin's protective barrier. Generally, exfoliating your lips once or twice a week is sufficient, although the frequency may vary depending on individual needs and the time of year.
