An adjunct in the treatment of multiple, recurrent, and hard-to-reach aphthous ulcers, gingivitis, and other irritations of the oral mucosa. It exerts a soothing and protective action throughout the oral cavity. It prevents the formation and/or worsening of aphthous ulcers and other pre-existing oral lesions, and prevents possible relapses. Due to its film-forming properties and hyaluronic acid content, it covers the irritated area of the mucosa, protecting it and stimulating natural healing. The barrier effect of its mucoadhesive matrix isolates the affected area from mechanical and chemical stress (friction, saliva, drinks, etc.), protects it from inflammatory agents, relieves pain and burning sensations, and aids in the repair process. The patented, naturally derived ingredient Verochic® helps maintain control of the lesion's microenvironment. It protects it from external aggressions and reduces the risk of further irritation. The red algae extract has a soothing and moisturizing effect, helping to hydrate and relieve painful sensations. Its minty aroma leaves a pleasant feeling of freshness and relief for the oral cavity and helps to prevent bad breath.
Indications: Recommended for recurrent aphthous stomatitis, inflamed gums, and minor superficial lesions. It is also indicated for post-traumatic and post-dental treatment, or for oral hygiene in users of orthodontic appliances or dentures. The presence of Verochic®, a patented antimicrobial product for the oral cavity, makes this product an ideal ally for treating fungal infections of the oral mucosa. Milrosina+ mouthwash can also be used to combat dry mouth caused by certain medications.
