Lacer CHLORHEXIDINE mouthwash

Lacer Chlorhexidine Mouthwash 0.12% is an effective broad-spectrum antiseptic against plaque microorganisms and has a pleasant taste. Its action is fast and maintains its effect for a long period of time, preventing possible bacterial recolonization of the oral cavity. The effectiveness of its action is based on a strong bond to various oral surfaces, thus forming a sustained release system acting at different levels: it eliminates the structure of existing plaque, inhibits the adhesion of muco-salivary proteins, inhibits the formation of new plaque and destroys the microorganisms responsible for the formation of dental plaque.

It is indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis. It is also effective as maintenance therapy in periodontal and pre-implant treatment, in periodontal surgery (pre and post-operative), in implantology, in dental prophylaxis of irradiated patients (rampant caries) and in gerodontology. Due to its formulation with a highly permanent bioadhesive polymer, it allows for greater adherence and prolonged and sustained antimicrobial efficacy for a longer period of time. It has a pleasant taste and is gluten-free.
