Solid shampoos Vegan

Solid Shampoo

Solid shampoo emerged more than twenty years ago thanks to the British company Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics , but it wasn't until 2007 that it was launched on the market. It consists of a small tablet that compresses three bottles of shampoo, meaning that one solid shampoo tablet can perform 80 to 100 washes, as it is equivalent to about 750 milliliters.

Benefits of solid shampoo

Solid shampoo is full of benefits, as it comes in a bar almost similar to toilet soap.

They don't require as much water to make, and most are enriched with natural ingredients that respect the scalp's hydration. They also last longer and are easier to transport, thanks to their small size, so there's no risk of spilling.

Likewise, it doesn't require plastic packaging or a bottling process; on the contrary, major brands opt for biodegradable paper. This last step considerably reduces costs and massively reduces pollution, resulting in a more economical and organic product reaching the consumer.

Its solid texture does not inhibit its high-quality foam, as this is one of the best ecological inventions of our time.

Applying it is as quick as it is easy; the only difference is that you need to rub it in water, and voilà! You'll have that rich, foamy texture in your hands, which will help you treat your hair better than usual . What are you waiting for to try it?

Solid shampoo according to hair type

Like liquid shampoo, solid shampoo has a multitude of ingredients depending on the hair type or problem to be treated.

The first member of this family is natural solid shampoo . It's a type of solid shampoo that's 100% biodegradable, with a plant-based formula free of artificial perfumes, soap, silicones, parabens, or sulfates. And they're generally enriched with essential oils, which immediately benefit your hair.

One of the most recommended is Alma Secret's SHIKAKAI solid shampoo , which stands out in our catalog for being organic and with moisturizing properties, free of parabens, sulfates, and silicones. It's a perfect solid anti-hair loss shampoo that also controls dandruff and excess oil.

For those with oily hair , solid shampoos with ingredients such as green clay, activated charcoal or lemon are ideal for absorbing excess sebum and maintaining a feeling of freshness for longer.

If you have dry hair , a solid shampoo with shea butter, coconut oil, or oatmeal will provide the necessary hydration to restore softness and prevent hair fragility.

The best solid shampoo brands

Talking about solid shampoos is equivalent to naming sustainable products packed with benefits compared to the usual treatment (liquid shampoo), but this doesn't mean they're all exactly the same. Among the most prominent brands in the production of solid shampoos are:

• Schwarzkopf , which is a pioneer in hair treatments and presents its Gliss line.
• Biovene , with three wonderful organic treatments, free of parabens, sulfates, and silicones, which you can find on our website.
• Dr. Tree , with a wide selection of solid shampoos for all hair types.
