• On the clean, toned skin of the upper eyelid, apply an eye base, or if not, translucent powder, to eliminate excess oil from the area.
• If you are going to apply eyeshadow, apply it before the eyeliner.
• Avoid applying eyeliner in a single stroke to ensure a precise line. Draw small dots along your upper lash line, keeping the same amount of space between them.
• Next, using short, quick strokes, join these dots into a thin line. If there's any space between the eyeliner and your lashes, fill it in to soften it.
• Draw the outer edge of your lashes to create a continuation of your lash line. This can be more pronounced or subtle depending on the style you're going for.
• Finally, to deepen your look and finish your makeup, apply mascara.
